Another 300,000 Square Foot Class A Office Project Might Be Torn Down for Housing
I have been hearing the rumors for several months, and there is still no official confirmation but yet another Class A major office complex out in the suburbs of San Ramon, California may be headed for demolition. I tried to tour an office client through 2000 Canyon Place which has a twin to tallying 320,000 square feet of beautiful, Class A mid-rise office space with the usual bells and whistles. Named Plaza of San Ramon and in the early days called ADP Plaza, one block from Danville’s Costco, renovated just a few years ago, but now they are limiting new leases to eighteen month terms. This is in addition to my recent blog about the four-office building complex called Canyon Place which will be torn down to make way for housing. Bishop Ranch 8, a three-building Class A interior-atrium office complex to totals 631,578 square feet and is estimated to be coming down in 2026, and yes, for housing, as will the 1.6 million square foot Chevron office complex.
