AI Companies Will Help Lease Almost 13 million Square Feet of San Francisco Office Space in 2026

SF Business Times 1/20/26 “The tech industry’s embrace of stricter return-to-office policies will help fuel a 15% increase in San Francisco office leasing this year, real estate software company VTS said. The city’s fast-growing AI companies also will help ease almost 13 million square feet of San Francisco office space this year, VTS predicted.” I didn’t make this up, just quoting sources but WOW!  But personally, I’m a bit skeptical…
