San Francisco Bay Area Office Good and Bad News
The good news is “The Brookings Institution published a report that confirms that the Ba Area is the epicenter of the AI race in the U.S. The report calls the San Franisco and san Jose areas a “superstar cluster”…While AI-related job postings only make up 2.5% of all job openings nationally, the Bay Area has 13% of those listings.” SF Business Times July 31,2025…in this same paper, the Peninsula biotech (which we were the leaders of for decades) is now almost 40% empty, and San Francisco recorded a 35% vacancy rate in the second quarter of this year.
