Just a few days ago I toured the almost-complete 30,000 square foot Industrious co-working facility under construction in Walnut Creek. It’s novel location is on the second floor of Broadway Plaza, one of the premier shopping centers in California, with offices looking out over the plaza and shops. With 112 private offices ranging from one person to 8 or more team offices, tons of glass on the interior walls, membership prices range from $500/month to $870-3,000/month for 1-2 person privates, depending on interior versus window-line and size, up to $7,000/month for a larger team office. Parking in the Broadway Plaza garage is $75/month. Conference rooms, daily continental breakfasts, social gatherings and other amenities.
On their web site are listed 34 cities where they have locations but there may be more. Is this market niche over-saturated? Time will tell…
