The Headlines of the November 3m 2023 SF Business Times read ‘S.F. Offices Are Suddenly Hot’
There appears to have been multiple offers on 115 Sansome St. in San Francisco, a 125,000 square foot 14-story office building that in 2016 sold for $83 million. Now the price was $25 million, and the seller received dozens of offers. This compares to another deep-discounted office building that didn’t generate the same multitude of interested purchasers. However, I am not sure I would use this to define a ‘hot’ market, and if Tesla ever put a new Model 3 on the market for $15,000 versus its list price of $44,380, there would also be buyers around the block. Then again, any positive news is welcome!
